Friday, March 21, 2014 Yoga Culture of Danbury to Hold a Charity Class for Local Foundation

Yoga Culture will hold a special evening on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at 105 Mill Plain Road to honor an extraordinary little girl, Catherine Violet Hubbard. Catherine was one of the 26 innocent lives lost on December 14, 2013 at Sandy Hook Elementary. Catherine, who loved animals, told her parents she would care for the animals one day.

The Hubbard family requested donations in Catherine's memory go to The Animal Center in Newtown, a volunteer-staffed, non-profit group that rescues animals through a foster network. The Animal Center had a long term goal of building a sanctuary for animals, “a place where all creatures, large and small, were rescued, respected and loved.”

The Hubbard family and The Animal Center are working collaboratively to make the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary a reality. For more information please visit www.cvhfoundation.org.
