The Connecticut Choral Society will be presenting three Candlelight & Carols concerts on Saturday, December 21st, 3 pm and 7 pm (North Congregational Church, Woodbury) and Sunday, December 22nd, 4 pm (First Congregational Church, Danbury). Audience members will find something for every musical taste and mood, with both traditional and contemporary pieces. Many people have made this concert a part of their holiday celebration. Under the direction of Eric Dale Knapp, the ensemble will present a wide-ranging repertoire, including an African Noel, Gloria (by composer-in-residence Rick Ryan), Believe (from The Polar Express), and an aria from Handel’s Messiah.
