Bryan Holmes, former teacher at Danbury, and Maggie McSpedon publish book

Bryan Holmes of Watertown and Maggie McSpedon of Ridgefield have recently published, The Vine and the Branches: How to Spiritually Connect in a Challenging World, a book examining spirituality in our lives. The authors show that people of every faith believe in a spiritual aspect of life, that today’s world is mainly focused on bodily existence, ignoring spirituality to its detriment, and that building spiritual connections with God and with those around us is the only way to a peaceful and contented life. Bryan and Maggie decided early on to donate all of the book’s profits to charity, and during May, they will donate to the Association of Religious Communities (ARC), a multi-faith charity located in Danbury.  They are also hosting a book signing on Saturday, May 10, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Morning Star bookstore, 72 Newtown Road, Danbury. They will have a free giveaway during the event and encourage everyone to come out to support ARC. Find out more and contact the authors at http://www.vitispress.com.
