The Ridgefield Press issue of June 29, 2012 reported that in October 2010, in a meeting of Ridgefield school guidance counselors, principals, nurses, psychologists and special education teachers: “it quickly became apparent that every school was experiencing a steep increase in incidences of students having difficulty functioning because they were anxious, depressed, coming in late, having headaches, stomach aches…. A dramatic rise in admission rates at psychiatric hospitals for Ridgefield and other Fairfield County teen residents….”

In light of the ever growing emotional and behavioral concerns affecting the youth and teens of Ridgefield, The Exchange Club of Ridgefield’s Vice President Sally Snyder, invited Kathy and Jack Rimmele, Licensee of the Brain Fitness Training Center in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania to provide information on a fast, effective and non-invasive method to alleviate these problems. The Rimmeles have been affiliated with Brain State Technologies in Scottsdale, AZ since August of 2006.

Kathy and Jack spoke about the Brainwave Optimization, essentially a form of neuro feedback. The key is the initial assessment and mapping of the brain. It is done by placing sensors on the client’s head that carry the brain information back to the computer so that any imbalances can be detected. Imbalances in the brain can stem from physical injury, emotional or psychological traumas experienced in the past. They form blockages in the brain and can manifest in the form of difficulties with sleep, depression, anxiety and other physical or emotional stress related illnesses. The cause of depression is not well understood, but the disorder has a neurobiological basis, according to Dr. Helen Mayberg, MD a neurobiologist.

The sessions following the initial mapping of the brain correct the imbalances by giving the brain the opportunity to develop new and healthy neural pathways to achieve brain homeostasis and thus achieve balance in body, mind, and spirit. It is through tones that comes through earphones that the brain balances itself through the mirroring effect as the brain seeks homeostasis. For most people, ten sessions would suffice. For others, it may require more sessions.

Interestingly, application of the Brainwave Optimization’s balancing of the brain can be used to address specific behavioral disorders, but it can also treat other ailments and symptoms of pain. In many cases, depressive tendencies were either completely diminished or significantly suppressed, with marked improvements through restorative sleep patterns as well and showed lower levels of stress, anxiety and substance abuse.

50,000 people around the world have decided to try the Brainwave Optimization with great success to overcome the physical, emotional and mental challenges in their lives.

The Brainwave Optimization is also very fast, effective and immediate for those looking to improve athletic performance or business performance enhancement.

Kathy and Jack Rimmele's presentation was widely received with enthusiasm from the attendees , with many people showing an interest for Brain Optimization sessions.
