Kickboxing With a Purpose
There are so many FITNESS programs out there. Spin classes, the gym, bootcamps, cardio kickboxing, etc. Just which one is the best one for me? Of course you can get a great workout from these fitness programs, but are they sustainable? Can you honestly keep up with them for a life time? That is the plan right? To stay healthy and fit for our entire lives.
I’ve been training in Tiger Schulmann’s for the past 21 years, I know this workout is sustainable. I’ve joined and quit countless gyms only to find the same result, no results. There was no motivation there and along with lack of knowledge with the equipment I would just wind up getting hurt which demotivated me to continue.
Coming to Tiger Schulmann’s it was the exact opposite. Each class is fun, motivating, an unbelievable workout and each instructor with a minimum of 15 years of martial arts, with their nutrition and fitness experience they guides me through the entire class. Ensuring success, results and safety in each class. My instructor always knows my weaknesses and strengths making my progression even better. Even now as an instructor myself it’s no different. I’m still a student, training each week under the direction of Master Tiger Schulmann himself. Each class he encourages me to reach my goals for each class!

I know we live in Danbury Ct and it’s a beautiful safe place to live, do you think self defense is important to you? Most people would think it’s not because nothing will ever happen to them but self-defense is one of the most important things you could have to feel safe!
At the Tiger Schulmann’s in Danbury, Ct we teach practical street wise self defense Mixed Martial Arts. We incorporate KICKBOXING and close range self defense (jiu-jitsu). Our kickboxing will give you the ability to kick like a Muay Thai Kickboxer and punch like a boxer. Then if you are held against your own will we teach a close range self defense. Which is Jiu-Jitsu, but unlike most Jiu-Jitsu schools, we make our style geared more towards the self defense aspect and not for competition.
Using this self defense system, we intertwine our muscular development, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility training and nutrition in our program to get our students to any fitness level they desire. It’s not about the kicking and punching, it’s about what the kicking and punching symbolizes. Our program changes lives one punch and kick at a time.
