WestConn Student Hit By Car
The Western Connecticut State University Police are reporting a student was hit by a car Thursday evening on the Westside campus.

Danny Fitzpatrick, a resident WestConn student, was hit by a car on University Boulevard Thursday at about 5:20 p.m. after getting off the shuttle bus and attempting to cross the road. A second student, Timothy Silva, 22, of New Fairfield, was driving the car that struck Fitzpatrick.
Police said Fitzpatrick, 21, was taken to Danbury Hospital by ambulance for further treatment. Fitzpatrick was listed in fair condition. The accident is under investigation.
