Tibetan Prime Minster to Speak at WCSU Tuesday

The Prime Minister of Tibet will speak at WCSU Tuesday, and the public is invited.

The Prime Minister of Tibet, Lobsang Sangay, will speak at Western Connecticut State University on Tuesday. This visit is in anticipation of the Dalai Lama's visit this fall.

At 2 p.m., Sangay will deliver the President’s Lecture Series address in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall, 181 White St. The lecture, “Democracy in Exile: the Case of Tibet,” will be free and the public is invited. The United States does not officially recognize the nation of Tibet.
