Danbury Police Log: Prostitution, Burglary, Conspiracy

The following information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is not guilty until having been convicted in court.

Danbury Police charged Jodi Davenport, 26, of Robinson Avenue, Danbury, with prostitution and second-degree failure to appear, charges stemming from a court warrant. Davenport was released on a $5,000 bond for a court date scheduled for March 14.

In an unrelated incident, Danbury Police charged Lorena Egas, 39, of Port Chester, NY, with third-degree burglar, first-degree larceny, plus conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny on March 1 at about 11 a.m. The charges stemmed from a court warrant. Egas was held on a $50,000 warrant.
