Danbury Investigates Burglaries

Danbury Police have been looking into smash and grab burglaries over the last week.

Danbury Police said two Subway Restaurants, one on Padanaram Road and one on Germantown Road were both burglarized over the last week.

The Germantown Road restaurant had its front door smashed by a rock and the cash register thrown onto the ground until it burst open. The only thing taken, police said, was petty cash from the register.

In a second incident, Police said the Subway Restaurant on Padanaram Road was broken into on March 23, and the cash register was stolen.
